I AM writing to you after just coming home from seeing the Phase II Project The Little Shop of Horrors at the Wyvern Theatre.
I just wanted to congratulate everyone involved in this spectacular production.
I booked originally for the Saturday evening not being too sure what to expect as this show I had no interest in at all.
I then decided to also book for the Saturday matinee think I'm mad? Maybe so, but I'm so glad I did. I understand for the Saturday matinee, there were just over 80 people in the audience.
This really was disappointing to see. There was very little clapping or even laughing.
It came to a point when the musical director Stephen Hill was in the pit clapping with him arms in the air trying to get this very dull audience to join with him.
Of course, the Phase II will never be as big as the Summer Youth Project but, as this is only the second production, they can only get better.
I enjoyed this year's much more than last year's Copacabana.
Congratulations to everyone involved in the show.
To the people of Swindon, please support Phase II in 2005. You won't be disappointed.
