REGULAR Milestone Fisheries angler Matt Wysocki landed a full bag last week with eight big catches.
One of his catches included a 20lb 1oz Ghost Carp, one of his eight catches caught using tiger nut single hookbaits along with black stupid bait combined with small pellets as feed. The other seven fish were up to 19-2-0.
The little fished Moulden Hill Fishery sprang into life last weekend for Moulden Hill Angling club's first match of the season.
There was a good variety of fish caught with match-winner Mike Hawkes taking 12lb 4oz.
Second was Pete Saunders 10-13-0 of tench, perch and roach taken on the pole and feeder.
Third was Kevin Maddison, the club secretary, with 10-5-0 of roach and perch on red maggot and caster.
Weights were good for the BCA match on the Wootton Bassett Canal where Ricky Spiteri took 14-14-0 of small fish.
Second was Fred Brown (10-5-0) followed by his brother Cliff (8-8-0) and fourth was Bert Page (8-6-0).
Pete Sole was well pleased with his Bourton in the Water catch of 115-12-0 which he took in the Wednesday Club match.
He won ahead of Alan Clark (93-8-0) and third was Ricky Spiteri (75-4-0).

In the first of a series of five matches held by Coleview Rover AC this time at Witherington Farm near Salisbury, Kevin Bamford came out on top with a cracking 76-10-0 of carp but only just beating the 75lb-12-0 of John Jarman.
Third was Nigel Sawyer 53-6-0 and fourth was Neil Haydon 51-5-0.

Ashton Keynes Angling Club members are reminded that new membership cards should be with club agents from mid-May. There will be no increase in club membership costs and the use of carp and pike sacks will continue to be restricted.
