MALMESBURY picked up their third win in four games with an impressive away triumph in Oxfordshire.
A first half goal from Andy Mitchell prove enough to ensured the Vics' continued their recent improved form.
The home side who started on the front foot and Jake Fisher had to be on his toes to clear a dangerous ball into the six yard box.
As the half went on Malmesbury came into the game and could have taken the lead when Dale Townsend found space on the edge of the box but dragged his shot wide.
Townsend then saw an excellent volley well saved by the goalkeeper as the visitors began to get on top.
The winning goal came on the half hour when Mitchell latched on to Kris Beasley's throughball and lobbed the advancing goalkeeper.
The Vics nearly extended their lead in the second half when Townsend lobbed the goalkeeper but saw his shot go just over.
Malmesbury's only scare came in the last minute when a long throw wasn't cleared and Graham Jones was called on to beat away a close range shot.
