FREELANCE tutor Cherry Nixon was so astonished at the naivety of some students on her antiques courses about using the Internet that she has planned a seminar on buying and selling on the Ebay auction site.
Ms Nixon regularly takes antiques courses at Urchfont Manor adult education college, near Devizes, but was taken aback that her students did not know how to use the Internet.
She said: "I found it amazing that so many people in this day and age still find going on the Internet a trial, so I have titled this course Buying and Selling on Ebay for Technological Simpletons.
"Trading on Ebay is very 'Everyman'. It is good for serious collectors, for people who just like to browse and some people actually make their living by buying and selling on Ebay.
The course takes place from August 16 to 20. To book a place call the college on (01380) 840495.
