TEENAGE fund-raiser Michael Clark is continuing his campaign to raise money for the Joshua Foundation with a six-a-side soccer tournament at Devizes Leisure Centre next month.

The event is due to coincide with the Euro 2004 soccer tournament and will take place on the astro-turf at the centre on May 23.

Michael, 17, from Etchilhampton, decided to raise money for the foundation, which provides holidays for children with terminal cancer, after the charity's chief executive gave a talk at Devizes School, where Michael is studying for his A-levels.

As well as the six-a-side tournament, Michael is hoping to lay on a professional goalkeeper prepared to take on all-comers in a penalty shoot-out.

He is urging local businesses to put up teams for the competition.

Registration forms are available from Devizes Leisure Centre.

The trophy for the winning team has been donated by Michael's Tae Kwon Do instructor, Allen McIlvar.

Registration costs £6, and there will be a £1 entry fee.
