THOSE affected by seeing Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, which opens at the Palace Cinema in Devizes tomorrow, have been invited to a coffee morning at St Andrew's Church to discuss it.
The Devizes Partnership of Churches is organising the event to provide an arena for discussion.
The Rev Chris Cory, minister of St Andrew's Church in Long Street, said: "We wanted to give those affected by the film the opportunity to come back and talk about the issues it raises.
"Coffee will be served in the church between 10am and noon on May 1 and ministers and members of the Partnership will be on hand to talk."
Cinema goers will given the names and phone numbers of the ministers if they feel they need to contact them.
