AN injury-hit Chippenham fielded a team of former players but still triumphed.
Whitehall put the first points on the board with a try from an interception but Chippenham regrouped and equalised with a try through centre Dave Burrows.
The conversion was added by returning number ten Jack Oliver. Oliver also added a penalty give the home side a 10-7 advantage at half-time.
Chippenham gained the upper hand afterwards and scored through left winger Rich Clements. Whitehall came back and kicked a penalty to get back within a score of Chippenham.
The teams then traded tries. Burrows went through to score his second and in response, Whitehall added a penalty to gain ground and get within two points.
But Chippenham winger Julian Squires intercepted a loose pass and rounding his opposite winger, went over to score in the corner.
