West of England Premier League Two visitors Devizes will probably start favourites and have announced that Australian Jake McCauley will be their overseas player for the campaign.
The 20-year-old top-order batsman and wicket-keeper plays first grade cricket for Gold Coast Dolphins in Queensland, but is unavailable for this weekend's clash.
Skipper Mark Colyer does play and is joined by vice-captain Nick Paget.
Malmesbury, of Glos/Wilts Division Two, are led by skipper Richard Mosdell.
