PEOPLE living in west Wiltshire can now give their opinions on the provision of open spaces in the district.
West Wiltshire District Council is asking for comments on proposed supplementary planning guidance, which could be adopted by the end of June.
The aim of the draft guidance is to give landowners and developers advice on the quantity and quality of open space that the council wants to achieve through the planning system.
Cllr Christopher Newbury said: "This guidance will be used for now as we have also ordered a recreational needs assessment of west Wiltshire.
The draft can be viewed at the council offices at Bradley Road, Trowbridge and at council offices and libraries in Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster and Westbury or on the district council's website at www.westwiltshire.gov.uk
Written comments should be sent to Mark Russell, planning policy manager, West Wiltshire District Council, Bradley Road, Trowbridge, no later that May 28.
