MATT Taylor capped his full debut with the equaliser on Monday night as ten man Melksham built on Saturday's win over Elmore.

Melksham looked to be up against it when defender Jamie Cheeseman was sent off for a professional foul just after the break with his side trailing 1-0.

But they responded well to the setback and 17-year-old Taylor's finish after Owen Bryan saw an effort rebound off the post was the least they deserved by the end.

Manager Nigel Tripp said: "We played well again like we have done in the last few games. Even when the result has gone against us in recent weeks the performances have been pleasing.

"We have been missing a lot of our more senior players but the youngsters who came in have played really well.

"Our man of the match was midfielder Dean Ranger. He was everywhere and was outstanding. He is always a 100 per cent player but you sometimes wonder why he can't play like that all the time."

Melksham entertain Bideford tomorrow in their last game of the season knowing they could play a big part in the destination of the Premier Division title.

Bideford are currently second in the table two points behind Paulton but with two games in hand.

Defender Dan Harvey (ankle), and Steve Casey (groin) are doubtful while Adi Stagg, Jason Lunt, Simeon Allison and Brian Kayll are definitely ruled out.
