A Warminster man has died following a car crash on the A36. Christopher Lewis, 21, of Highbury Park, died after his Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Land Rover Discovery at Claverton on April 9.
He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath and later died in Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, five days later.
The accident happened at 12.15pm on a right hand bend on the A36 at Claverton near Bath.
Police have given no information on how the accident occurred but no-one else was injured in the crash.
The road was blocked for over five hours and diversions were in place taking drivers over Brassknocker Hill.
