AN ANGRY wife attacked her estranged husband's car, forced her way into his home and then led police on a 100mph chase for 15 miles, it was alleged in court.
Deborah Stewart, 35, of Thetford Way, Haydon Wick, Swindon, pleaded not guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court to causing criminal damage to a Honda car owned by Paul Stewart, dangerous driving on the A419 Cirencester to Swindon road, criminal damage to a front door, and entering Mr Stewart's home in Bowling Green Lane, Cirencester, by using violence on Sunday, April 4 this year.
Derek Ryder, prosecuting, told the court Mrs Stewart was arrested at her home by police after it was alleged she had sped along the A419 from Cirencester to Swindon at speeds of more than 100mph.
She is also alleged to have ignored three red traffic lights.
Mrs Stewart was bailed until Wednesday, June 9 when a date for trial will be set.
