I would like to draw the attention to the person who spilt a large can of black paint on the pavement near the arcade of the High Street in Wootton Bassett on Tuesday, April 20.
I was the unfortunate lady who fell down as my feet went through the paint.
I was very shocked and hurt. If it hadn't been for the kindness of Janet Gilcher, I don't know what I would have done. She kindly took me into the florists, obtained some white spirit and managed to get a lot of the paint off me so that I could go home.
The loss of the clothing that was damaged might be nothing to him or her, but it is a lot to me.
Whoever it was must be pretty dim to leave it uncovered.
Luckily the cameras are nearby, so the culprit may yet be found.
