PAT Bryant is missing the point in condemning Julia Drown's stance on hunting with hounds.
Our elected MPs have repeatedly voted overwhelmingly to introduce such a ban. Every time, their democratic vote has been overturned by the unelected House of Lords.
Pat Bryant may be happy with this state of affairs, but I most certainly am not.
If people disagree with Julia Drown's principles, they can vote accordingly at the next election. None of us can do a thing about the ludicrous anachronism that is the House of Lords. This is most certainly a major, indeed fundamental, problem in our so-called democracy, and must be addressed urgently.
