A SWINDON entertainment management firm has been helping hotel managers get the best out of their businesses.
Venues Unlimited, which is in Lotmead Business Village in Wanborough, has been spending up to three days a week with staff from Radisson, De Vere, Inter Continental, Moat House, The Exclusive Hotels Group and Hilton hotels.
The immersion sessions involve hotel staff spending time at Venues Unlimited learning about brands and products in the group, where they are, what facilities they have and how the facilities can be best used for the requirements of Venues Unlimited's clients. The idea is that by tailoring the hotels to the customers' needs business will be increased.
Nicky Carroll, account manager for De Vere Hotels, said the immersion sessions were useful, saying: "It is important for us to take part in this sort of thing as we are able to get to know and build relationships with the bookers while ensuring everyone is aware of De Vere and what we have to offer."
Sue Bruce, accounts manager for the InterContinental Hotels Group, said: "The time spent at Venues Unlimited has been fun and educational for all involved."
