SWINDON Tribe showed form with the pole to win the North Wessex Winter Grand team final.
The match at Devizes AC's Crookwood Lake was a little patchy but there was some really good weights, the best from Swindon Tribe's Richard Baston who took a cracking 50lb 4oz of tench and bream.
Turners' Dave Kirk was second (33-7-8) ahead of Ray Carter (Lobbies, 28-15-0).
Out of a possible 36 points Tribe accumulated 27 to fend off hot favourites Devizes Red (24) on their own water.

Kevin Bamford won his second successive Coleview Rover match in a series of five matches, when he took 80lb 11oz of carp at Bourton-on-the-Water.
He again beat John Jarman (72lb 15oz) into second, followed by Andy Bright (66lb 10oz) and Keith Harris (48lb 8oz).

There were some cracking weights in the Peatmoor versus Three Counties match, won by Peatmoor with 105lb 2oz to 78lb 8.5oz.
The winner was Peatmoor's Bryan Jackson with 41lb of bream and tench on the pole. Runner-up with 32lb 15oz of bream on the pole was young Nathan Reeves of Peatmoor, and in third and fourth, Three Counties' John Gaylard (19lb 2oz) and Mark Wooldridge (14lb 8oz).
