Re: Councillor Garry Perkins letter on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 Payment for staying on at school.
Who is he to insinuate that our youngsters would spend the money on beer, and it's not a bribe either more like him suffering from sour grapes.
I've great-grandchildren who are well behaved, and know how they would spend the money, like the grandson of mine in the same paper, I'm sure there are plenty more too who would appreciate a little help to further their education, so get to know them before judging them.
I'm tired of the younger generation being judged by the likes of Mr Perkins. I know there is anti-social behaviour around but they are not all the same, the majority are good youngsters.
