HOTELS and guest houses in Malmesbury have been fully booked for months ahead of the Badminton Horse Trials this weekend.
Malmesbury is just ten miles away from the grounds of the Duke of Beaufort's Gloucestershire Park, where the trials are held from today until Sunday.
Owner of Bremilham House Guest House, at Bremilham Road, Susan Ball said: "We have been booked up a long time, right since the beginning of the year. Some people even ring up in November.
"We were getting calls at 10.30pm asking for rooms. Malmesbury is a convenient spot for people to come to."
The Old Bell in Abbey Row, which has 31 rooms starting at £110 a night, is also booked up this weekend.
A spokesman said: "We have people coming from everywhere. We have even got some of the judges staying at the hotel. They come from all over the world; American, Swiss and Austrians."
