TRIUMPHANT duo Emily Benham and Alice Butt showed off their gold medals after helping the England select junior girls team to the top spot at the ISF World Schools Orienteering Champion-ships in Belgium last week.
The pair did superbly in both championship events.
Thirteen-year-old Alice took fourth place in the Classic race on Wednesday and secured the runners-up spot in Friday's Sprint.
Meanwhile, 14-year-old Emily, who sustained an injury in the first race, finished fourth and sixth in the two races.
Their England colleague, Emily Garside, from the Midlands was first in both events.
The girls were in Belgium for a week for the biennial championships and took part in a series of friendly relays and events as well as the main races.
Emily's proud dad, Nigel Benham, said: "They did absolutely brilliantly.
"They are both very happy and had a fantastic time."
