FORMER West Indies Test captain Jimmy Adams will line up for Wiltshire in their second round Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy match against Nottinghamshire next week.
Adams will team up with a familiar-looking Wiltshire side for the match at Westbury on Wednesday.
But Richard Illingworth is unavailable due to umpiring commitments.
Wiltshire skipper Russell Rowe said: "We are delighted to have a player of such experience to help the side. I'm sure he will lift the rest of the players."
Adams is playing club cricket for St Annes in Lancashire this season.
It is Wiltshire's first game at this stage of the competition for ten years and team manager Brian White said it could be a great day for the county side. I don't think anybody is left from the side that played in the game ten years ago so it's a new experience for everyone," he said.
"We are all looking forward to it and you just have to go out there and do the best you can."
Nottinghamshire's ranks include Australian test cricketer Stuart MacGill, England A player Kevin Peterson and former internation all-rounder Mark Ealham.
White added: "Nottinghamshire will have considerably more cricket under their belts than us. But Hereford beat Middlesex a few years ago so you never know what will happen."
Wiltshire have their annual warm-up match where they contest the Marlborough Cup against Berkshire on Monday at Devizes.
Wiltshire squad against Notts: Russell Rowe (South Wilts), Jason Searle (Chippenham), Jimmy Adams (St Annes), Richard Bates (Chippenham), Richard Bedbrook (Beckenham), Kevin Blackburn (Clifton/Optimists), Chris Budd (Thornbury), Michael Coles (Bridgwater), Baqar Rizvi (Barnet), James Hibberd (Calmore Sports), Kevin Nash (Bashley), Neil Shardlow (Corsham).
