GAZETTE & HERALD: A charity play scheme looks set to return to Calne this summer to provide fun activities for youngsters.
But the Summer Fun in Calne Play Scheme is looking for new staff because many students who worked on the scheme last year are now in full-time jobs elsewhere.
Summer Fun, a registered charity run by volunteers, has been providing affordable play for Calne children aged five to 12 for the last seven years.
It operates for four weeks of the summer holidays from 10.30am until 2.30pm.
Treasurer Derek Quinn said: "Many of last year's staff who were students are now in full-time employment. Efforts to recruit new staff are ongoing."
The play scheme operates at the football club for two weeks and at the youth centre for two weeks.
Anyone intresting in helping should contact Teresa or Derek Quinn on (01249) 813367 for further details.
