Tikki Baker DEVIZES bank worker Tikki Baker was among a group of furious commuters left stranded at Westbury Station on Tuesday evening after their cars were blocked in by vehicles belonging to a film production company.
The company was filming a scene for its upcoming production Yanks, starring Lord of the Rings sensation Elijah Wood, on platform 1 at the station.
But the entire production team had disappeared, leaving an MPV and a large 4x4 vehicle blocking nearly 20 cars.
Miss Baker, 20, from Market Lavington, who works at the Devizes branch of the Halifax, had been on a training course in Bristol for the day.
She said: "We just couldn't get out. We complained to the staff at the station but they couldn't contact the production company. We were stuck there for an hour and 40 minutes"
A spokesman for Wessex Trains said: "The agreement was the film company would provide a parking attendant. We got some people away in taxis but others had to wait. If the drivers want to contact our customer care department, we will write an apology."
