AN INFANTS' school is celebrating a £500 grant.
Grange Community Infant School in Lower Stratton says it will pool the money from the GWR Community Trust with cash it has raised through its parent/teacher club and buy equipment for its playground and sports field.
Meanwhile, the school is preparing for its main annual fundraising event, its May Fayre on May 15.
The event is open between 11am and 2pm.
It will feature a raffle, a model railway, juggling, face-painting, go-karts and other attractions.
There will also be a special welcome for children due to start at the school in September, along with their families.
