CHIPPENHAM finished the season with an emphatic win. Despite conceding an early try in the first five minutes the home side quickly began to dominate in the forwards and it was not long before winger Julian Squires levelled the scores.
Fly-half Danny Burke converted to give the hosts the lead.
Further tries from Craig Hurcombe, James Cook and Neil Watkins took the score to 24-5 at half-time.
In the second half Cook crossed the line for his second try before an immense effort from the visiting pack which resulted in their second try.
But Chippenham's backs cut loose and further tries again followed. Centre Dave Burrows scored two in quick succession and Squires scored his second try of the match in the dying minutes of the game.
