CHIPPENHAM NEWS: A BOOK featuring comments from all 160 pupils at Box Highlands Primary School is to brighten up the House of Commons library.
Each child wrote down their thoughts on why they liked coming to school to coincide with North Wiltshire MP James Gray's visit on Friday.
Mr Gray joined MPs up and down the country in taking part in the back to school initiative designed to promote the worldwide drive for free primary school education. His visit saw him meet governors and pupils from the school council and take a guided tour.
Headteacher Mike Plummer said: "James is an old friend of the school and we were very pleased he took up our offer to come. We received a letter from him on Wednesday saying how much he enjoyed the visit.
"Every comment the children made in the book was positive. It makes a case to members of parliament why worldwide we should support children having access to free education."
