CHIPPENHAM Town need three points from tomorrow's match at Hinckley and then keep their fingers crossed results go their way if they are to earn a place in the end of season play-offs.

Currently lying in 20th position Chippenham can only catch three teams above them and they must leapfrog two of them to extend their season.

A Chippenham win will leave fans nervously listening out for other results and tapping away on their calculators as the final positions become complicated

To win a place in the play-offs Chippenham must win and then rely on ..

1: Dover OR Bath losing and Chelmsford drawing or losing.

or 2: Dover AND Bath losing.

or 3: Dover OR Bath losing and Chelmsford winning, but their winning margin is three goals less than Chippenham.

or 4: Dover AND Bath drawing but Chippenham's winning margin is three and two goals larger respectively

or 5: Dover OR Bath drawing and Chelmsford winning, but Chippenham again finishing with a winning margin three goals larger than Chelmsford and Dover and two larger than Bath.

All have home matches tomorrow, Dover play Stafford, Bath play Welling and Chelmsford play Merthyr Tydfil.

The first round of the play-offs will take place on Monday with the final the following Saturday.
