VISITORS to Wiltshire's museums can now take part in a heritage quiz on the art of travel.
The historical quiz taking place at 16 museums across the county including Trowbridge, Warminster, Lackham, Bradford and Calne is being held to mark Museums and Galleries Month.
The quiz includes questions about transport in Wiltshire, from the Great Western Railway to vehicles used in the county's agricultural history.
Rosalyn Thomas, museums' officer at Wiltshire County Council, said: "Wiltshire has a wide range of museums which reveal every aspect of the county's heritage, from the rural life museum at Lackham to the GWR museum in Swindon.
"Visits to museums in Wiltshire have been increasing steadily in recent years, and we want to encourage even more people to find out about the county's past."
Clues to the quiz, called Wheels within Wiltshire, can be found in collections at museums taking part. All correct entries will be entered into a prize draw, with two prizes of £25 book tokens offered to the winning adult and child.
