THE American Museum near Bath is appealing for more volunteers from across west Wiltshire.
The museum, located at Claverton Manor, already has volunteers from Trowbridge and Warminster but is looking for extra hands.
Giving visitors a glimpse of American history, the museum features a 1690s Puritan home, through to a luxurious bedroom on a Louisiana plantation, dating back to the 1860s.
Volunteers are needed to guide visitors around the museum, with spaces for both rota staff and emergency cover.
Two of the posts involve dressing up in authentic costume, to guide visitors around Conkeys Tavern a room based on a Massachusetts Inn, dating back to the late 18th century,
Free transport to Bath is offered, along with other benefits, including free refreshments and staff discounts.
The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday until the end of October.
Anyone interested in helping out can contact volunteer co-ordinators on (01225) 464503.
