THE season cannot end quickly enough for Westbury as they slipped to their 12th defeat in their last 15 league games on Saturday.
The dramatic dip in form has seen them drop from being promotion contenders to mid-table also-rans and manager Derek Graham is now looking ahead to the summer.
He said: "We have got nothing to play for now and it shows. It is just a case off getting our last couple of games over and done with and then looking forward.
"I have never known anything like what has happened to us in the second part of the season and hopefully it will never happen again.
"I am now making a few changes and giving the young lads a chance to show what they can do.
"It doesn't matter where we finish now because wherever it will be is rubbish. It is more important to start building again for next season."
Weston's Ryan Havard missed a gaping open goal on three minutes but made amends later with a double strike.
After Havard's unbelievable miss, Westbury's Wayne Wheeler and Steve Seals had shots saved by visiting goalkeeper Chris Davidson.
But Weston broke the deadlock on 25 minutes as Havard sent a powerful finish past Batters in the Westbury goal.
Before the break Westbury created a couple of half chances as Allan Clarke shot over from 20 yards and Jerad O'Pray had a close range flick deflected wide.
In the second half Lee Carpenter and O'Pray had weak efforts saved by Davidson while Carpenter missed United's best chance of the match when he lifted the ball over the cross bar from close range.
Havard made the game safe on 65 minutes when he latched on to Ashley Carter's through ball to lob Batters from just inside the penalty area.
