I too am writing regarding the lack of seats in The Shires shopping centre in Trowbridge.
My husband and I have moved to Westbury to be nearer to family and to make the most of our independence in the later years of our lives.
We are grateful for the good bus services to get us about, but then struggle as there are no seats in this large shopping centre.
Not all of us are able to walk all the time.
In Warminster there are plenty of seats to take a breather, what happened to Trowbridge? For a county town this is very disappointing, we feel that we are being discriminated against as elderly people.
Please Trowbridge, look again at your facilities.
Mrs Morris,
Westbury.
The town council is ordering more street furniture including benches and The Shires is spending £70,000 on a revamp. Editor
