INTERNATIONAL award-winning theatre company, Cheek by Jowl makes its eagerly awaited return to the stage with Othello.
One of the greatest British Theatre companies comes to Bath with its first Shakespeare production since Much Ado About Nothing in 1998 and the international award-winning all-male As You Like It.
The play comes to the Theatre Royal as part of a world tour which includes seasons in Paris, Rome, New York and Sydney.

Nonso Anozire plays Othello, fresh from his triumphant King Lear with the Royal Shakespeare Company Academy with Cheek by Jowl founders Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod as director and designer. The hugely acclaimed duo's recent productions include The Winter's Tale (1997) for the Maly Theatre of St Petersburg and Twelfth Night (2003) for the Russian Theatre Confederation.
Frequently applauded for changing the face of British theatre, Cheek by Jowl was formed in 1981 and has performed in 295 cities in over four countries, spanning five continents.
They have received numerous international awards for landmark productions of classic plays incorporating vivid storytelling with dynamic performance, music and dance.
Caroline Martin plays the role of Desdemona. Caroline can currently be seen as Dorothy in BBC1's major new adaptation of Anthony Trollope's He Knew He Was Right.
