DORSET & Wilts team boss Martin Hill has warned Buckinghamshire to expect a Twin Counties backlash when the two sides meet in the Tetley's County Shield at Chippenham tomorrow (3pm).

Hill's side were defeated 29-10 by a classy Kent side in their opener last weekend and are desperate to make amends as they return to home soil.

Manager Hill said: "We lost 29-10 to Kent and we were very disappointed especially as the scoreline didn't really reflect the way we played in the end.

"However, Buckinghamshire is a completely different game this weekend and we will be looking to make amends.''

Dorset & Wilts' cause will be helped by the arrival of a handful of Swanage & Wareham players.

Hill added: "It will act as a massive boost to have these guys back in the squad. And after beating Buckinghamshire by 30 points last season we will want to do the same again.''

Former Wootton Bassett three-quarter Dave Parker starts tomorrow's clash at outside centre.

Devizes' outgoing skipper James Gaiger is named among the substitutes, with the Twin Counties selectors leaving a decision on their final replacement from the host club until the last moment.
