A 15-YEAR-OLD whiz kid from Trowbridge has won a place at an exclusive summer school for gifted mathematicians.

Daniel Pieczko, a student at St Augustine's Catholic College, Trowbridge, is already wading through A-level maths despite not sitting his GCSEs until this summer.

Daniel has been awarded a place at a summer school at Exeter University.

His maths teacher Colin Delaney said Daniel was streets ahead of his contemporaries, and he had high hopes for him.
