CAR fanatic Donald Penny has called on all Austin owners in west Wiltshire to help celebrate the car brand's centennial year next year.
Mr Penny, 76, of Clarendon Road, Trowbridge, took his Austin Somerset to a rally in Westbury on Sunday to mark the first official Austin Day, but wants all fellow owners to help make next year a year to remember.
"The Austin is a completely different car to me and I get a lot of enjoyment out of it," he said.
"This is the second Austin Somerset I have owned. I bought it about 10-12 years ago from a chap in Trowbridge. It is about 50 years old. People have great memories of Austins. I always get people coming up and reminiscing."
