HIGHWORTH helped blow the Hellenic Premier Division title race wide open last night.
John Fisher's men held championship favourites Brackley to a 1-1 draw at the Elms to give Slimbridge and Southall every chance of catching the table-toppers with one game.
Terry Muckleberg fired Brackley ahead after 34 minutes, but leading scorer Matt Jack popped up for Highworth with a 71st-minute penalty.
Highworth, who have now completed their fixtures, move up to ninth, while the point leaves Brackley leading the way on goal difference from Southall, with Slimbridge a further point behind.
The title will be decided this weekend when Brackley travel to Fairford, Southall visit Almondsbury and Slimbridge trek to Abingdon.
Highworth and Brackley will meet again on Monday in the Supplementary Cup Final at Abingdon.
