THe Swindon Samaritans have received a welcome cash boost from BT. The telephone giant handed over a cheque for £300, which will pay for the charity's telephone bill for three weeks.
Dinah Moon, of the Samaritans, said: "As we receive no grants we are always delighted to receive donations, which are vital. The telephone is the lifeline between branch and callers."
Anyone who would like to become a volunteer can call the Swindon branch in Curtis Road on 01793 537373.
