Lambourn Sports claimed their first trophy for four years, after a 3-0 win over Didcot Casuals in the final of the North Berks Charity Shield.
Casuals, from Division Four, gave a strong performance and certainly kept Lambourn goalkeeper Richard Stewart busy throughout the game.
A little more belief, particularly in the first half, and the scoreline would have reflected the close game it was.
Lambourn had come close a couple of times early on, but Adrian Mooney made no mistake when he finished off a fellow striker Paul Davies' good work in the 26th minute.
Didcot's first real threat came when Tommy Fisher worked his way through the Lambourn defence but Stewart stopped his close-range effort.
Davies had the last word in the half when he rattled a post with a 20-yarder and 10 minutes into the second half he ran onto a through ball, side stepped the keeper and shot home.
Tim Hammond missed a great chance to pull a goal back for Didcot and Wayne Jacks brought a good save from Stewart as Didcot upped their efforts.
Sean Beard and Danny Hinchcliffe also had shots saved by Stewart, but Lambourn settled the game two minutes from the end, when a penalty was awarded for handball and Neville Willoughby converted.
Earlier in the day AFC Wallingford A needed penalties to win the Nairne Paul Cup Final after a 1-1 final scoreline against Saxton Rovers Reserves.
Saxton Reserves took the lead after only 13 minutes when Derek Palfrey put-paced the Wallingford defence to slot beyond keeper Matthew Cuthbert. Wallingford's Andy Allum quickly replied with a shot that 15-year-old Levi Dodd held at the second attempt.
Palfrey had the chance to double the lead but rolled his shot wide of the post, and Dodd did well to block a shot from Tito Rodriquez.
However, he could do little to prevent Rodriquez's drilled 20-yard shot finding the net on 33 minutes to level the scores.
Andy Allum headed just over from a corner just after the break but the game had little to offer as it moved inevitably towards extra-time.
Wallingford got more on top during extra-time but Saxton almost snatched it when Richard Eyres headed off his goal line from Chris Steptoe.
Wallingford scored their first three penalties while Saxton could only net one, and when Harry Routledge blasted Rover's fourth effort well over the bar the game was over.
