Highworth Colts have completed the double in the Cirencester & District Youth League.

Having already wrapped up the under 13 division, the Colts triumphed 5-0 against Cirencester Juniors in the final of the Knockout Shield.

And that in their first season in the league and only their second in existence. The Colts showed they meant business only 50 seconds into the match when Danny King unleashed a blistering shot from 25 yards that rattled the crossbar with the keeper well beaten.

But it was Cirencester who could have opened the scoring when Richard Tremblem sprinted through, only for his shot to be saved well by Colts keeper Jason Lewis.

Highworth pressure eventually told though, and King put the Colts one up after 15 minutes.

Tino Pileggi added a second with Josh Law making it 3-0 going into the break.

In the second half, more dominance by the Colts resulted in an own goal before King dribbled through from the half way line to get his second.

Brunel Boys completed their Cirencester & District Youth League campaign with an emphatic 5-0 win over Ashton Keynes.

The under 13 side cemented fourth place in the division thanks to goals from Alex Taylor (2), Joe Gidinski, Gavin Lloyd and a Louis Dee screamer.
