A CRASHED car and a smoke-logged building will be used to teach youngsters about coping in emergencies.
More than 1,000 schoolchildren will receive the emergency training at the Science Museum in Wroughton. They will also be taught about stranger danger and how to make 999 calls.
The training is being given as part of the Junior Good Citizen Scheme to make young people more aware of hazards around them.
Police, fire and ambulance staff are taking part in the scheme, which starts today and runs for three weeks.
