RESIDENTS in Ashton Keynes are raising money to buy goats to help give poor African families a better future.
Villagers are well on their way to their £4,000 target. The money will be donated to the Recycle a Goat organisation, which will use it to buy animals for widows with young children in Uganda.
Villagers have raised £1,700 since March.
And the fund was boosted by a Sound of Music evening held at the weekend.
