RESIDENTS in Swindon are being offered the chance to relax the way the Romans used to at a new purpose-built centre.
The benefits of wet and dry heat have been heralded through the ages.
And now visitors to the Link Centre will soon be able to unwind tired bodies and minds at the new Sauna and Steam Rooms at the Health Suite.
Opening on Monday, June 21, the treatment at the new Swindon Council facility is ideal for helping to cleanse pores and ease aching muscles and joints.
The suite also contains changing and shower areas, a relaxation area and dedicated disabled changing. Programming manager Dave Maine said: "We hope to increase participation in all leisure activities and believe that this state-of-the-art facility will attract new customers to the centre."
Access to the new facility will be available to all SwindonCard users.
