GENEROUS firms around Swindon have donated a range of raffle prizes in aid of the Swindon Cancer Appeal.
The raffle will take place at the Wiltshire Media Awards at the Marriott Hotel on Thursday June 17.
Prizes include a night's stay in the Hilton Hotel, sessions at JJB Fitness, £200 to spend at the Outlet Village and a hamper of Co-op Fair Trade goodies.
The Pear Tree in Purton has donated a meal for two, while Longs, in Old Town, and Arkell's brewery have also contributed.
The awards have been organised by the Swindon branch of the National Union Of Journalists.
The Swindon Cancer Appeal aims to raise £600,000 for Macmillan Cancer Relief. Already £375,000 has been raised.
Tickets for the awards evening, priced at £25, which include a three-course meal and musical entertainment, are available from treasurer Bob Naylor on bobnaylor@btinternet.com.
Businesses and groups who are able to offer prizes are asked to call the Advertiser on 01793 501799 or email aemery@newswilts.co.uk
