COMMUNITY groups are being invited to a lunch where they will learn how to secure up to £10,000 in grant aid.
Voluntary Action Swindon, in conjunction with the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation, has organised the lunch for June 22.
The foundation has a total of £500,000 to give away.
It is intended for voluntary groups working with young people, the elderly, the homeless, the unemployed and other people in need.
Particular attention is given to groups helping vulnerable people to develop their potential and overcome problems and barriers.
The lunch will be attended by Jen Wildblood, a representative of the foundation. She will be offering advice about the work of the foundation and ways of securing aid.
The venue will be the lounge of Broad Green Community Centre in Salisbury Street.
Details are available from Ms Wildblood on 01380 729284.
