DYSON is bringing Malaysian workers to its Malmesbury plant to be trained.
The company moved both vacuum cleaner and washing machine production from its factory at Tetbury Hill to Malaysia in the last two years, making more than 800 people redundant.
The company, which employs 1,200 people in Malmesbury, has now admitted it is bringing over workers to be trained.
A Dyson spokesman said: "Workers from Dyson's Malaysian manufacturing operation are currently training at our Malmesbury site.
"This is usual practice as it is hugely important that our manufacturing teams work closely with the 350 scientists and engineers based in Malmesbury.
"The move of production to Malaysia has been very successful and has allowed us to double our annual vacuum cleaner production from 1.5m units to over 3m.
"Dyson now employs 1,500 worldwide and we are happy to welcome our colleagues from Malaysia during the next few weeks."
Dyson has four factories working in Malaysia, one of which produces washing machines and another two makes vacuum cleaners, which are manned by 2,000 workers.
