YEAR 7 pupils from La Retraite Swan School visited St Thomas's Church and Salisbury Cathedral as part of their medieval history studies.
Helena Conroy-Lewis and Tim Brockbank were both "amazed" by the architecture of the cathedral and by the Magna Carta while Stephanie Westcott said how fortunate Salisbury is in having a "tourist's paradise" on its doorstep.
Hannah Morris was quite taken by St Thomas's church and its "brilliant, medieval Doom painting".
The pupils are pictured outside the cathedral prior to their tour of the medieval building.
