CHILDREN from Norman Court School, in West Tytherley, enjoyed a skiing trip to the Three Valleys, in France.
The Alps had excellent snow conditions and the children were very excited by the amount of snow that they could see.
They were divided into five ski groups, according to ability, and were able to explore the challenges of the largest ski area in Europe, including visits to Courcheval and Val Thorens.
Lots of the children made rapid progress and Michael Somerville, after two attempts, made the finest leap of the week, landing perfectly on both skis.
The snow conditions for all skiers were excellent and, despite sunshine all week, conditions remained first-rate.
The children enjoyed a range of evening activities, from bumboarding to karaoke, pool tournament to town trail, and the always-popular pizza night out.
