BATH AND DISTRICT LEAGUE: CHIPPENHAM U11 had a thrilling last ball victory in their Bath League match at home to Lansdown.
Chippenham bowled and fielded well to restrict Lansdown to 54-5 in their 16 overs. Brad Dawson took 2-4 in his three overs and the fielding highlight was a superb stumping by Ben Holyoake.
Andrew Edwards (15) led the Chippenham reply and all the batsmen ran well between the wickets. With four runs needed off the last two balls, Alistair Billet hit a well-placed boundary to see Chippenham home by 4 wickets.
CHIPPENHAM U15 made 90-6 in 20 overs at Westbury.
Wayward bowling cost Chippenham the game as they conceded an expensive 38 extras.
