WILTSHIRE face a tough test when they entertain Cornwall in a three-day Minor Counties Championship match starting on Sunday.

Brian White's side, which will be playing at Trowbridge for the first time since the mid 1990s, includes a number of changes from their recent draw against Herefordshire.

With several players unavailable Steve Perrin will come into the side for his first game of the season.

The game will be Perrin's 99th appearance in the Minor Counties Championship for Wiltshire.

There will also be a first appearance for Devizes opening bowler James Ashford-Brown.

Corsham all-rounder Richard Foley will also come into the side for the first time since 1997.

Good news for Wiltshire is that skipper Russell Rowe should be fit to lead the side after being taken ill during the Herefordshire match.

Team manager Brian White said: "We had to make a few changes because of people being unavailable.

"It could be a tough game because Cornwall look to be quite a strong side and we have quite a few inexperienced lads playing.

"But we've still got the players there who are good enough to win the game."
