THE cost of watching Salisbury City FC in action is set to rise slightly next season.
The Old Sarum club, newly promoted to the Premier Division of the Isthmian League, have confirmed match admission prices will go up by 50p for the 2004-5 campaign, with season ticket prices upped by £10.
Adult admission to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium will rise from £7 to £7.50 with senior citizens and the unemployed charges up to £4.50 from £4. Children, aged five to 15, will now be charged £2 instead of £1.50. The cost of transfering to the stand will remain at £1.50.
An adult stand season ticket with allocated seat, which covers admission to all home league matches, rises from £150 to £160, while the terrace equivalent rises from £120 to £130.
Season tickets, although not covering the cost of admission for cup ties or friendlies, still represent excellent value for money. Ticket holders attending all 21 home league matches effectively pay less than half the usual admission fee.
All season ticket applications should reach the club by July 23.
Existing season ticket holders wishing to retain their seat will be given priority, but must apply before the booking deadline. For full details and application forms, ring the club on 01722 326454.
