WINTERSLOW motor cyc-ling ace Vince Prevett is riding high after earning himself a place in the Manx GP race on the Isle of Man in September.
Vince, who rides for Salis-bury's Hayballs Motor Sport, gained his place after two successful meetings which saw him finish first in one race and beat his all-time lap record in another.
Vince, riding a Yamaha R6, prepared by Hayballs in their Churchfields' workshops, be-gan his bid for the Manx in April at Donnington when he finished seventh in the 600cc race. He then took the R6 to the Pembrey circuit in Wales at the end of May and took third place on the first day beating his lap record of 1.02.
The following day he went one stage better taking the honours in the 600cc race.
Vince (pictured left) said: "I'm now ready for the big race at the Manx but that is in September, so look out for me at Thruxton when I race on July 11."
